Real-Time Biomarkers That Predict Early Heart Disease & The Genetics Behind Them
In this webinar, Dr. Kara Fitzgerald was joined by Dr. Jason Barker, ND, Clinical Lab Educator at Vibrant Wellness to explore how combining advanced functional testing with genomic insights provides a comprehensive upgrade to cardiovascular disease prevention.
Together, they dove into:
- Detecting early dysfunction: How the Cardio Zoomer measures real-time biomarkers, including advanced lipids, inflammation, ceramides, oxidative stress, and endothelial health, to reveal physiological changes before symptoms appear.
- Understanding the “Why”: How Cardio Genetics identifies SNPs that influence lipid metabolism, inflammation, clotting, and blood pressure regulation, along with how a patient metabolizes key cardiac medications like statins and antiplatelet drugs.
- Clinical Application: A case example showing how combining genetics with biomarkers uncovers hidden risk and transforms prevention.
Live attendees had the opportunity to participate in an interactive Q&A session.
