We talk a lot about symptom management in joint he We talk a lot about symptom management in joint health—but what if we could actually see evidence of repair?

In this clip, research microbiologist Kiran Krishnan shares exciting new clinical trial data on a unique botanical blend that leads to:
🦴 50% reduction in cartilage degeneration markers (CTX, uCTX)
🧬 50% increase in regeneration markers
📉 Significant improvements in pain and mobility by day 7
📸 And yes—visible changes in joint space on radiographs.

For those of us working with osteoarthritis, inflammaging, or chronic inflammatory burden, this is the kind of intervention that gets my attention.

🚨 Toxic Food Additives: Finally Under the Micro 🚨 Toxic Food Additives: Finally Under the Microscope

The FDA is beginning to crack down on several food chemicals long flagged as endocrine disruptors and potential carcinogens—think red dye 3, brominated vegetable oil, and more.

We’ve known for years that these additives don’t belong in a healthy diet, but now we’re seeing long-overdue regulatory shifts. In our latest blog, I break down what’s changing, why it matters, and how we can help patients navigate these exposures right now—especially as change in policy takes time.

Because when it comes to food and longevity, what we avoid is just as important as what we add in.

🧠 For clinicians: I include practical guidance for educating patients, with EWG tools, simple swaps, and strategies to reduce cumulative burden.

I have so many conversations with women (and clini I have so many conversations with women (and clinicians) who are asking the same question: “My estrogen is normal… so why am I still at risk?”

Here’s the thing: It’s not just about how much estrogen you have.

It’s about how your body processes it.

That’s where urinary hormone metabolite testing comes in—and I’ve found it to be one of the most insightful tools for understanding estrogen metabolism and breast cancer risk.

đź’ˇ In our latest blog from @doctorsdata Dr. Lylen Ferris breaks down:
 – What this test tells us that bloodwork doesn’t
 – Why certain metabolite pathways may increase risk
 – And how we can use this info to better support detox, hormone balance, and whole-person health

This isn’t just theoretical—it’s helping us personalize care in real and meaningful ways. 🙌

It all starts with mom — even your cells. 🧬💛

Today I’m thinking about something pretty amazing: all of our mitochondria — the little engines that power every cell in our body — come directly from our mothers.

It’s a reminder that the energy we use to move through the world, to heal, to thrive — it all begins with them.

So here’s to the moms, grandmothers, and mother figures who gave us more than we can ever fully appreciate — starting with the very first spark.

Happy Mother’s Day. 🌸
