Janine Henkel, MS, CNS, CKNS, CN is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and holds a master’s degree in Functional Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. She believes we can see a positive change in our health when we have more personalized support. And that most people have good intentions, but they get confused by the bottomless amount of information they have access to. By embarking on a journey using a customized approach, clients can eliminate the noise and focus their finite energy on specific their goals.

“Janine actively listens to a client’s questions and any struggles so she can firmly guide them through the process, strives to provide resources tailored to their specific needs, and continually coaches’ clients to overcome any obstacles they face, which may derail their hard work.”

One of her goals is to bring Functional Medicine and Nutrition to the front line of First Responders. As a USMC veteran and retired Police Officer herself, she understands the unique needs of our Police, Firefighters and Military who have been grossly underserved.

When she’s not nerding out on the latest research in health and nutrition, you can find Janine chasing around her young son, trying to sneak a workout in or volunteering at her local animal shelter
