In a time when artificial intelligence (AI) and wearable technologies are changing so rapidly, we as clinicians want to understand the potential opportunities and pitfalls, as well as how our colleagues are using these advances. Functional medicine and longevity medicine use cases are unique in several ways, such that examples of use even in other medical fields aren’t always directly applicable or even conceived.

During a 4-week period spanning September to October 2025, Dr. Fitzgerald collected survey data from 205 respondents on how functional and longevity medicine practitioners are using AI and wearable technology. The results of that survey are presented in this 15-page PDF report.
