DNA methylation adaptogens

DNA methylation adaptogens

Notes from DrKF:

Many of the extraordinary methylation adaptogens, like those in green tea and curcumin, are nutrients that have a long history of traditional use and benefit. They have also demonstrated pleiotropic activity in the body, meaning that they target multiple pathways at once. Curcumin, for example, is potently anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, neuroprotective, GI protective, and antimicrobial to name some. They also regulate the epigenome via a variety of mechanisms, including, of course, DNA methylation.

You can also read more about these DNA methylation adaptogens on the following pages:

HTB Rejuvenate contains several bioactive longevity and immune-supportive nutrients including Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat, vitamin C, quercetin, and luteolin. Tartary buckwheat also contains HMB, an anti-aging compound good for building muscle and supporting brain function.*

Curcumin is a DNA methylation adaptogen as well as being anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and more.* Curalieve is an advanced absorption curcumin formulated with curcuRouge®, an amorphous solid dispersion containing curcumin extract.

Curcumin is a DNA methylation adaptogen as well as being anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and more.* Theracurmin is a uniquely bioavailable preparation.

A whole-plant extract containing significantly higher amounts of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), the most active catechin (polyphenol), compared to most green tea extracts.

This whole-foods extract contains a wide range of beneficial curcuminoids including curcumin, a DNA methylation adaptogen with anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties, and more.*

A powerful antioxidant, vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin necessary to form collagen in bones, cartilage, muscle and blood vessels.* It also aids in the absorption of iron, supports balanced DNA methylation, and promotes immune balance.*

We used this greens powder in our study that is flush with methyl donor and methylation adaptogen nutrients, including powdered versions of various mushrooms, berries, flax seeds, turmeric, and beets. We use greens powders as a high-quality, super-clean, extra bit of plant-based insurance for our patients, too. It covers a lot of bases in one scoop. In our study, participants took one scoop twice per day.
