Greens powder
Notes from DrKF:
We used this greens powder in our study that is flush with methyl donor and methylation adaptogen nutrients, including powdered versions of various mushrooms, berries, flax seeds, turmeric, and beets. We use greens powders as a high-quality, super-clean, extra bit of plant-based insurance for our patients, too. It covers a lot of bases in one scoop.Â
You don’t have to choose that exact greens powder, however. Any good greens powder will work well as an optional alternative. We always want to make sure it is organic and look for one that contains one or a blend of DNA methylation donors and adaptogens.Â
Dosage: Take one to two servings a day (as determined by the product label), either stirred into water, green or herbal tea, or a smoothie. Note that in our study, we prescribed our greens powder twice per day.
